When I need a prompt to start a poem, I've made page 48 my random page. Here are some prompt ideas:

- Use every word found at the start of each line; add words but keep the words in the order they were found.
- Answer the first question you find on the page.
- Write down every noun found on the page and re-purpose all of them into a poem.
- Erasure poem: Erase whole words or just letters from the page... but you must keep the words or letters in the same order as the original. No re-arranging, just erasing.
